Ramsey: Arsenal Can Win Without Fabregas

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey believes the Gunners can achieve success without Cesc Fabregas this season. That is evidenced by the victory over Udinese.

Hurt, Nasri Leave Arsenal

Samir Nasri is almost certainly going to leave Arsenal to move to Manchester City. However, before that happens Nasri experience unpleasant treatment from fans of the Gunners.

As reported by The Daily Express, Wednesday, August 17, 2011, when Arsenal meet Saturday Newcastle last weekend, Nasri subjected to insult songs from Arsenal fans. And Nasri himself is not lowered in the game.

"Nearly finished [the move]. But I'll go with hatred and anger in the liver. I'm proud to have played for the Gunners," said Nasri in his Facebook account.

"I am very disappointed with the fans last weekend. I'm still an Arsenal player, but soon I must go," he added.

Nasri departure adds to the list of players who leave Arsenal at the beginning of the season 2011-12. Previously, there have been Cesc Fabregas back to Barcelona, Emmanuel Eboue who move to Galatasaray, and Carlos Vela on loan to Real Sociedad.

Nasri will reportedly go to the transfer value of £ 22 million or about Rp307 billion. City unsure if the move will be completed this week.

Arsenal's Alex Song Complete Agony

Gelandang Arsenal Alex Song dijatuhi hukuman tiga laga oleh Asosiasi Sepakbola Inggris (FA). Hukuman ini dijatuhkan setelah Song melakukan tindakan tak terpuji saat Arsenal bersua Newcastle United.

Pada pertandingan pembuka Premier League lawan Newcastle itu, Song tertangkap kamera menginjak dengan sengaja kaki Joey Barton. Meski insiden itu tak diketahui wasit Peter Walton, namun FA berhasil menangkap tindakan 'nakal' Song lewat tayangan ulang video.

Dengan hukuman tiga laga ini, gelandang timnas Kamerun ini akan absen saat Arsenal menjamu Liverpool, Sabtu besok,  serta saat tandang ke Manchester United (28 Agustus) dan tandang ke Swansea (10 September).

Dengan absennya Song, manajer Arsene Wenger tentu harus lebih memutar otak. Pasalnya, penyerang anyar Gervinho juga dipastikan absen dalam tiga laga yang sama setelah mengoleksi kartu merah di pertandingan itu karena menampar Barton.

Wenger Preparing to Receive UEFA verdict
